Substack has a tool to send out a survey to readers. It is mostly meant to ask what readers would like.
Here is the link to a survey about Olive Oil and personal consumption : https://jordanfinance.substack.com/survey/2391265
I personally would like to use it for general surveys in the same sense IPSOS does: i.e. get market information and consumer sentiment.
These surveys won’t be scientific of course, just a curiosity and a fun endeavour to share between ourselves.
I am also testing the survey tool to see how to publish the data while keeping all data anonymous and protect user information (and please let me know by email, comment or twitter message if you encounter any issues).
I am doing this as I am considering changing the format for this Substack: starting soon, I want to publish a concise monthly post that encapsulates the latest market data (stock market, real estate, international trade etc.), corporate news, and government decisions (did you know that by April 1st, every company needs to issue a Fotara invoice?). Something in this style:

The occasional post (theme du jour or equity ‘research’ about a publicly traded company on the Amman stock exchange) will be of course published, from time to time.
If you are curious about the latest olive harvest in Jordan, the Department of Statistic published the latest data for this season, and it is looking great (Irbid makes up around 50% of olive oil production in Jordan):
If you would like to learn more about the olive ‘industry’ in Jordan, here is a small post from a while ago:
