The Euromoney 2024 winners for each category are:

Best Digital Bank: Capital Bank

App registration rate up 120%

Best bank for SMEs: Jordan Kuwait Bank

SME net credit portfolio rose from 70 to 115 million JODs and introduced the “Corp+” platform

Best bank for ESG: Jordan Kuwait Bank

Green lending portfolio: 73 million JODs. Bank also cut energy usage by 80% by installing LED lights.

Best bank for corporate responsibility: Bank al Etihad

Its philanthropic outreach reached 230,912 beneficiaries, up from 2022’s 25,730. 1 million JODs donated to Gaza. Its finance literacy programs, including Rise Academy and the podcast Mali o Maluk, were also recognised.

Best Bank for corporates: Arab Bank

Improvements in its trade finance portal among other things.
